This seminar is devoted to evaluation of the field work done by community leaders during the internship period. Our trainees have done active work on theirs view of community's local strategy and this is when they present it for the first time to our team.
The Community Development Training Program of the Urban Institute starts with its partners, the Latvian Rural Forum and the Ministry for Environmental Protection and Regional Development in its second season with another six workshops touring through Latvia.
After an intensive working break, with each community analyzing its individual potentials and elaborating a first community development strategy this 7. workshop in Brocēni aims to present the achieved assessment and visions. The team will collaboratively evaluate and discuss the intermediate results and plan the future working steps for the year 2015.
Unlike the other workshops this one is set up the other way around - the trainees will talk and tutors will listen.
